Karyn started rescuing cats in her early twenties which set her on the path to what was to be her calling in life. In 2003 she started AniMeals Animal Food Bank, and later added the Adoption Center. She credits the School of Hard Knocks, unshakeable convictions and solid tenacity for her extraordinary success in a challenging career. She makes her home with her husband and 7 rescued cats.

Jackie is a full time Licensed Realtor, with fifteen years of sales experience and project management. She enjoyed a successful career as a B2B Sales Consultant within the telecommunication industry and served on the team at Blackfoot Communications as a Senior Account Manager. She is a member of Leadership Missoula Program Class 27, The Missoula Downtown Association and The Missoula Chamber of Commerce. Jackie is from Minnesota and moved to Missoula with her husband Shawn and two sons nearly 20 years ago. Jackie has been on the AniMeals Board since 2019 and is an enthusiastic fundraiser.

Kelly is the VP of Accounting and Treasury, after serving as the Internal Auditor, for Clearwater Credit Union. She earned her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting at the University of Montana. She joined the Credit Union in 2000. Since then, she has been a teller, worked in card services, accounting, as an internal auditor, and currently as the VP of Accounting and Treasury. Kelly grew up in Montana and enjoys all that it has to offer, such as hiking and fishing in summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. She has one dog that goes on many outdoor adventures.

William completed his undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Montana, earning a Bachelor’s of Science, as well as a Master’s of Science degree. William studied law and graduated from the University of Montana School of Law, and is a proud member of the Montana State Bar Association, the Western Montana Bar Association, and the Montana Trial Lawyers Association. William serves on the Board of several Missoula area organizations, including AniMeals, The Humane Society of Western MT Legislative Committee, Footloose Montana, and The Nine Mile Wildlife Workgroup. He opened Rideg Law Office in 2011 to serve the needs of Missoulians.

Cindy has been employed by Providence St. Patrick Hospital as an RN in Day Surgery for over 30 years. She enjoys gardening, reading, travel, watching college sports and being outdoors. Cindy became involved with AniMeals many years ago when she and her husband started fostering kittens. They enjoy caring for them, watching them grow and socializing them for adoption. Cindy has served as a high-level volunteer on the Board of Directors of AniMeals for over 5 years.

Kiley earned her B.S. in Wildlife Biology at Colorado State University. She is PMP-certified and is an IT systems implementations project manager. She has expertise in cloud-based system implementations and software development management. Her skills include budgeting, scheduling, and setting milestones for multiple concurrent projects, while maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders. Kiley has been an animal advocate for over 20 years, volunteering with Mindy's Memory Primate Sanctuary, Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic, Animal House Rescue & Grooming and The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. Kiley’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, SUP, cooking and interacting with her cats.

Susan has been employed by CLC Restaurants for sixteen years and is currently their Operations/Recruitment Coordinator. Prior to that, she had a hair and nail salon in Missoula for many years.
She loves to hike with her ladies hiking group and spend time on the rivers and lakes. She and her husband like to travel and go to musical events as often as possible. Susan is an avid gardener, baker and enjoys many kinds of food preservation. She has two daughters, one step daughter and four grandchildren. She has volunteered for AniMeals in different capacities and has two kitties that are AniMeals adoptees.

Anne was an Animal Care Technician at AniMeals for several years, where she learned to administer medicines and care for the sickest animals, until she made the life changing decision to become a veterinarian. The Board of Directors values her commitment, hands-on expertise and thorough knowledge of day-to-day operations of both the Animal Food Bank and the Adoption Center. She has proven to be a strong team member and will no doubt become a fine veterinarian.

Rick has been a steadfast supporter of AniMeals since our beginning in 2003. Now retired, Rick spent 8 years serving in the US Navy and 30 years as a Fire Captain for the Missoula Fire Department. He and his late wife, Ronni, began rescuing and adopting senior and special needs cats and dogs in 2006. Rick shares his life with three dogs, two birds, and one cat.
